Sharing Student Learning Innovations!
Innovations 2001 was held Wednesday, April 4 and it was an exciting gathering of innovative and creative learning experiences. More than 25 projects were displayed in the Multipurpose Room of the Johnson Center, with displays ranging from marine mammal training to on-line political simulation to presenting with technology and much more. The sponsors of the event, which include the Provost’s Office, University Life, the Department of Instructional Improvement and Instructional Technologies (DoIIIT), the GMU Century Club, the Technology Across the Curriculum (TAC) Program in the College of Arts and Sciences, and Student Organizations, Activities and Programs (SOAP), each presented awards for top honors in different categories. Once again, students were invited to vote for their favorite innovation in the Student's Choice category.
