Sharing Student Learning Innovations!
Innovations 2000 was held Wednesday, April 19, 2000, and it was an exciting gathering of innovative and creative learning experiences. More than 50 projects were displayed in 40 booths, with displays ranging from the mathematics of music to art therapy to e-zines and much more. The sponsors of the event, which include the Provost’s Office, University Life, the Department of Instructional Improvement and Instructional Technologies (DoIIIT), the GMU Century Club, and Student Organizations, Activities and Programs (SOAP), each presented awards for top honors in different categories. The award sponsored by SOAP was new this year, and students were allowed to vote for their favorite innovation.
